COCOON Sacha Inchi Hair Tonic

This lightweight leave-in hair tonic is formulated with sacha inchi oil, hyaluronic acid, amino acids, AHA and moisturizing ingredients to help nourish the hair, reduce dryness and frizz, improve elasticity and protect the hair from environmental stressors.

The formula contains Plukenetia Volubilis Seed Oil, also known as sacha inchi oil or inca inchi oil, a nutrient-rich oil naturally high in unsaturated fatty acids, including omega-3, omega-6 and omega-9. It helps moisturize and nourish dry, brittle and lifeless hair while supporting a smoother, shinier and healthier-looking finish.

Sodium Hyaluronate, a form of hyaluronic acid, helps bind moisture to the hair and forms a hydrating shield around the hair fiber. It helps reduce moisture loss, dryness and frizz, leaving the hair feeling softer, smoother and more manageable.

Amino acids such as arginine, aspartic acid, PCA, glycine, alanine, serine, valine, proline, threonine, isoleucine, histidine and phenylalanine help support the hair’s natural moisture balance, strengthen the hair structure and enhance shine. Sodium PCA, sodium lactate, glycerin and panthenol provide additional hydration and conditioning care.

The formula also includes Pelvetia Canaliculata Extract and sugar-derived moisturizers such as xylitylglucoside, anhydroxylitol, maltitol and xylitol to help improve moisture retention and softness. Glycolic acid, an AHA, helps remove buildup from the scalp and hair strands, supporting a cleaner, smoother and less tangled feel.

The liquid texture absorbs easily into the hair and scalp without heaviness. A gentle blend of rosemary, geranium and peppermint essential oils gives the tonic a refreshing herbal scent while leaving the hair feeling light, soft and full of vitality.
