UNOVE Silk Hair Oil

UNOVE Silk Hair Oil is a leave-in oil which makes the hair silky and soft without a greasy feel. It tames frizz and protects hair from heat up to 235°C while adding natural, radiant shine.

The fast-absorbing formula combines a blend of silicone-based smoothing agents, nourishing plant oils, squalane, hydrolyzed proteins, silk amino acids, vegetable amino acids, and barrier-supporting lipids to leave the hair feeling soft, silky, polished, and beautifully glossy without a heavy or greasy finish.

Cyclopentasiloxane, Dimethiconol, C12-15 Alkyl Benzoate, and Dimethicone help create a smooth, silky finish while reducing friction between individual strands. The result is hair that feels more polished, soft, manageable, and easier to style. 

The formula combines several botanical oils selected for their emollient and conditioning properties, including Argan Kernel Oil, Sea Buckthorn Oil, Camellia Japonica Seed Oil, Sunflower Seed Oil, and Olive Fruit Oil. Together, they decrease the feel of dry hair, improve smoothness and healthiness of hair lengths.

The formula contains Hydrolyzed Silk, Hydrolyzed Keratin, Hydrolyzed Vegetable Protein, and Hydrolyzed Conchiolin Protein. These hydrolyzed proteins are broken into smaller components to penetrate the hair shaft which makes them able to nourish, strengthen and repair hair. Hydrolyzed proteins can smooth the hair cuticle and result in softer hair with improved texture. 

Silk amino acids improve hair hydration by locking in moisture through the hair cuticle to the hair shafts. The formula also contains amino acids like Cysteine and Methionine, that help form keratin. 

Ceramide NP is a skin-identical type of ceramide. In a hair product, it complements the conditioning and lipid components and helps support a smoother-feeling hair surface. Phospholipids, Phytosphingosine, and Phytosterols further contribute to the formula's lipid-rich conditioning profile.
