Lemon and lime are both potent cleansing agents with alpha-hydroxy acids (AHAs) that act as exfoliants. This allows removal of dead skin cells that in the long run can darken skin and even permit the entry of bacteria when not treated. Remove dead skin cells with this exfoliant mask and get fresher, fairer and smoother skin. Lemons can be likened as essential oil and has the ability to remove excess oil. With its high citrus acid content, it can penetrate deep into pores and alleviate the pores’ firing of excess sebum or oil. Both lime and lemon are excellent in lightening skin and improving overall skin condition. It can penetrate deep into the epidermal layer and rid pores of dirt and unwanted bacteria, leaving skin fresh and clean.
